  my local upn station keeps moving enterprise around.

  sometimes it's on friday, sometimes it's on wednesdays, sometimes it's not on at all.

  so as a result i haven't watched more than a couple of espisodes this season.

  My Gods what a show!

  The Lords of Kobol were smiling when Sci-Fi made this powerful piece of drama.

  In true Roddenberry tradition Galactica tackles todays morality morass with similar themes on the show.

  September 11, treatment of prisoners, loss of civil liberty accepted by the populace for an imagined increase in security.

  Hot steamy human on god fearing robot sex.

  news today, president of kyrgyz (stan) resigns and flees.

  first, ukraine, now kyrgy (stan), are we seeing a sweeping of democracy and change across eastern europe?.

  Whiskeykack:

  I have seen the movie but not the sequel Trekkies II. A good theatrical movie about us nerds is 'Free Enterprise" That is a Trek Fan's movie.

  Tom Baker was my favorite Dr Who and my favorite companion was Leela of the Sever Team.

  What folks who are not into science fiction do not realize is that sci-fi is about psychology not hardware. Ordinary humans in extraordinay situations. The best Sci-Fi is drama based on human behaviour.

  i remember being told if you partake of the emblems and not be of the anointed the bad things will happen you or at the very least christ will be real made at you.

  i have always believed the witness's to be presumptuous on their part of this issue to make such a statement, who are they to say who should and who should not.

  does not the bible/christ, say to do this always in remembrance of me, concerning his followers are we not his followers?

  After I left Jehovah's Witnesses I associated with the Fort Worth Bible Student class. With the rest of the Bible Students I partook of the emblems two years in a row and nothing bad has happened to me.

  Awful crackers and the wine was worse.

  Deep Space Nine was better then Voyager.

  That series had great stories dealing with religion, philosophy and capitalism. As a Radical Capitalist I thought the Ferengi were heroes. The actor who played Quark said in an interview that he came to an appreciation of Ayn Rand and the philosophy of Objectivism after playing Quark.
